BHUBANESWAR: Parametric Technology Corp’s India chapter made its maiden educational visit to degree engineering colleges in and around Bhubaneswar earlier this week. Parametric is headquartered in the US. Parametric’s only authorised training centre __ Sotftcad World __ facilitated seminars to mark the occasion. The seminars were held on the theme ‘Product Design with 3D Modelling’ in which students from GIET, CVRCE, GITA and CEB took part. Karthik K, Ashini Muraal and Deepak Nal of Parametric demonstrated the availability of huge employment avenues in the field and urged the students to utilise the opportunity provided by the company in terms of design technology. Shantiswarup Mahapatra of Softcad World assured all kinds of logistics support to the students in this regard.
