After making headlines for her role in Animal, Indira Krishna is now set to be seen in the upcoming television show Durga. Starring Pranali Rathod and Aashay Mishra, the show will premiere today on Colors TV. Besides, the actress also has Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana in her kitty wherein she will be playing the actor’s mother. Now, in a recent interaction, Indira has revealed that she was recommended by Ranbir for the magnum opus while also heaping praises on him for treating people with respect.
Speaking with Times Now, Indira Krishna said, “I did Animal with Ranbir Kapoor. After that, he recommended me for Ramayana. He’s a very grounded person and never shows any starry attitude on the set. From spot boys to his co-stars, he behaves politely with everyone. I have learnt one thing from Ranbir: Give respect, take respect.”
Indira Krishna was all praises for Ranbir Kapoor throughout the conversation. As the actress continued to highlight the actor’s dedication to his work, she added, “I have seen heroes and heroines coming late on the show while I would sit and wait for them. Ranbir Kapoor respects his work a lot. I learned from him that if you respect your work, people will respect you.”
Earlier, Indira Krishna had shared a picture with Ranbir Kapoor on Instagram. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Ahaaaa look who’s here…..RK my all time. Grateful, thankful, joyful 2024… Finally a selfie with him.”
In another post, Indira Krishna thanked Ranbir Kapoor for his wonderful gestures while working together on the sets of Animal. The actress penned, “Animaling….Thank you for your care ,love and kindness and your wonderful gestures, Ranbirrr…costar.” FYI, she played Rashmika Mandanna’s mother in Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Coming back to Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, the upcoming film will star Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram whereas Sai Pallavi will be seen playing the role of Sita. KGF star Yash is also expected to essay Ravana, with Sunny Deol joining the cast for the portrayal of Hanuman. Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi are reportedly in talks to play Kumbhakarna and Vibhishana respectively. Reports also surfaced confirming that Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in to essay the character of King Dashrath whereas Lara Dutta would be seen in the role of Kaikeyi.
