How to Beat Riddle School 4

Launch Riddle School 4. This game can be found and downloaded on GameJolt, uploaded by the original creator Jonochrome. Riddle School 4 is the shortest of the series.

Click anywhere on the screen. The game opens in the classroom with Mr. Munch. You'll see some familiar characters and tons of objects you can interact with. There's not much to do here; you can interact with any object you'd like.

Watch the cutscene. Mr. Munch will press a button, and Phil will fall through a hole in the floor and into a volcano. This is the only ending available in Riddle School 4. In the cutscene, you see the following text: Phil's teacher, Mr. Munch, was the original architect of Riddle University. The school was built above a long pit of lava that he himself had dug near an active underwater volcano. His plan to murder Phil Eggtree, to forever rid him of this world, succeeded. And no one cared. Every other student of Riddle University eventually died, from car wrecks, old age, and unforeseen disasters. Each one, on their deathbed, whispered their final wish: "Please don't let there be any more Riddle School games." It will end on the following quote by JonBro: "Just as every book has a start and a finish, a series must have a beginning and an end. I deliberately sucked all the room for another sequel out of this series so that it, too, may end."

How to Beat Riddle School 5 (Phred's Dream)

Start Phred's dream. This method refers to the "Riddle School 4" dream segment within the actual Riddle School 5 game. You'll need to enter the numbers "7272" into the chair's number pad.

Interact with the note in the corner to read it. In this dream, you'll need to make Mr. Munch kill Phred instead of Phil, like in the original.

Click on Phred and select Would you like to wear my sweatshirt?. Phred will disagree at first since the room is too hot.

Click I'll stop talking now. This will exit the conversation.

Click the thermostat and ask Phred the same question. This will lower the temperature, and Phred will finally agree to wear the sweatshirt.

Wait for class to begin and click anything. Mr. Munch will mistake Phred for Phil and kill him instead. The dream will end.

Riddle School 4 Story Explained

Riddle School 4 was created as an April Fools' Day joke. The game consists of the teacher, Mr. Munch, eliminating Phil by dropping him into a lava pit. This is the only available ending; clicking anything will prompt Mr. Munch to press a button that sends the main character to his death. However, Riddle School 4 directly leads to Riddle School 5, where Phil wakes up on an alien spaceship, where he and his friends have been abducted. In the legacy version of Riddle School 4, there's a following hint that alludes to the next game: "Accessing. Accessing failed. Phil Eggtree offline, dream chair logout detected, beginning transmission." If you're curious about what happened to the other characters, you can read more about their fates by clicking the Fun Facts option on the main menu.
