The rush of tourists has brought the smiles back on the face of locals who depend on religious tourism for their livelihood.
Rishikesh: As the temperature touches new highs across India, tens of thousands of people from different parts of the country are flocking to the places in and around river Ganga in the upper reaches of the Himalayas.
The river is clean, swift flowing, water is ice cold and the surroundings have a divine atmosphere closer to the source of the holy river.
It has been one year since, the devastating floods killed thousands of lives in Uttarakhand. The rush of tourists has brought the smiles back on the face of locals who depend on religious tourism for their livelihood.
