IT Euphoria to conclude today

KOCHI: IT Euphoria, a three-day inter-collegiate IT fest, organised by the Department of Computer Science of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, was inaugurated by Hibi Eden MLA on Thursday.Delivering the inaugural address Hibi Eden had said that education at all levels should be industry oriented to match up with the technological developments in the Western Universities. Addressing the gathering, associate director of Cognizant Technology Solution  Rajesh P K said that the system of computer education should catch up with the changes in the technological world. “Computer education should be linked with globalisation, virtualisation and innovative methods,” he said.The fest includes a number of competitive events and winners of the coding and animation contests will be awarded with job offers from the reputed IT organisations. Director of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences Dr Antony Kariyil CMI presided over the function. Dean and administrator Mary Venus Joseph, Head of the Department of Computer Science P X Joseph and head of publication division Jacob Ikkara spoke on the occasion.
