A school teacher in Ahmedabad has been arrested after a video of him beating a student went viral, A mathematics teacher at the Madhav Public School in Vatva, Abhishek Patel was caught slamming a student against the wall and pulling his hair on CCTV footage from inside the classroom. He had also slapped the student several times and thrashed him to the ground, reported NDTV.
The school has also suspended Patel following an order by the District Education Officer. The teacher has been taken into custody by Vatva police. As per the report, legal action will be taken against him.
