New Delhi: It was an afternoon of confusion and big news breaks on Monday. Around 2 PM, news came from Indonesia that India's second most wanted fugitive Chota Rajan was arrested in Bali. Indian media went berserk over the arrest of one time Dawood Ibrahim aide-turned enemy. Minutes later, a massive earthquake shook the Hindukush region bordering Afghanistan and Pakistan.
There was panic among people as they felt the tremors in the capital. For a moment, media shifted its focus from Chota Rajan to earthquake. A few minutes later, news came that the arrested fugitive was not Chota Rajan but a serial killer called Cyanide Mohan sentenced to death by a Mangalore court. Realisation dawned upon the media after local Kannada news channels started running that Cyanide Mohan was sentenced to death and lodged at Hindalaga jail in Belgaum.
Around 4 PM, CBI Director Anil Sinha confirmed that the arrested person is indeed Chota Rajan. Finally, the media heaved a sigh of relief after it was proved that arrested man was Chota Rajan.
