The Chhattisgarh State Open School (CGSOS) has revealed the date sheet for the 2024 board exams. Interested students can access the comprehensive schedule for both CGSOS Class 10 and 12 exams on the official CGSOS website, sos.cg.nic.in. As per the official timetable, the higher secondary examination (Class 12) is scheduled to commence on March 9 and conclude on April 6. Simultaneously, the high school exam (Class 10) is set to kick off on March 3 and extend until April 3, 2024.
CGSOS Board Exam Date Sheet 2024: How to Download?
To download the date sheet, candidates should follow the instructions below.
Step 1 – Visit CGSOS’s official website, sos.cg.nic.in.
Step 2 – Click the CGSOS Board Exam 2024 date sheet link on the front page.
Step 3 – A new tab will open, allowing candidates to view date sheets for the 10th and 12th grades.
Step 4 – Download the page and retain a printed copy for future use.
The class 10 and class 12 exams are scheduled to occur from 1:45 p.m. to 5 p.m., with candidates beginning their papers at 2 p.m. and having a designated 3-hour duration to complete each exam. Notably, in the event of a government-declared public holiday during the examination period, the exams will proceed as originally scheduled. Students are strongly advised to thoroughly review the subject-wise schedule post-receiving the date sheet to ensure clarity and avoid any confusion on the exam day.
According to the date sheet, the practical test in the state is scheduled to end on April 6, 2024. The Higher Secondary practical examination can be taken on the same day as the theory examination. Students should contact their examination centre for information on the date and timing of the practical examination.
In the previous year, the CGSOS Class 10 exam witnessed registration of 65,557 students, comprising 35,364 boys and 30,193 girls. Among them, 62,051 students participated in the examination. For Class 12, there were 37,471 registered candidates, and 34,161 took the exams. In the Class 10 results of 2023, 9,653 students secured the first division, 15,180 secured the second division, and 11,801 secured the third division. The overall pass percentage stood at 65.46 per cent. Notably, the pass percentage among female students was 67.72 per cent, surpassing the boys’ pass percentage of 63.56 percent. In total, 37,383 students successfully passed their Class 12 or upper school exams.
