Telangana: Seemandhra MPs may reach out to Opposition parties
This comes after the Congress suspended 16 of its MPs from the Seemandhra for opposing its decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.

New Delhi: With just a few days left for the Parliament's Winter Session to end, the Seemandhra MPs are trying their best to avoid the clearance of Telangana Bill in the House.

After Congress suspended 16 of its MPs from the Seemandhra for opposing its decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh, parliamentarians from the region are now trying to find support amongst the opposition parties.

Seemandhra MPs may hold a series of meetings with opposition parties before the Lok Sabha convenes on Monday.

The controversial Telangana Bill was tabled in Lok Sabha on Thursday by Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde amidst chaos.

YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy too had met BJP President Rajnath Singh and asked him not to support the Telangana Bill.
