Jaipur: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia gandhi are in Jaipur on Saturday to launch the integration of various government-run flagship programmes with the Aadhar card system. After integration, user can access government schemes like the MNREGA, Pensions scheme and the Chief Minister's scholarship programme using the Aadhar card.
Union Finance Miniter P Chidambaram and the chairman of the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) Nandan Nilekani will also attend the event.
The schemes including MGNREGA, Mukhyamantri BPL Gramin Awas Yojna, Pension scheme under social security, Asha Sehyogini payment and Chief Minister's Scholarship scheme will be integrated with the Aadhaar card.
