Akshay is undoubtedly one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. He has come a long way in showbiz with rich content driven and commercial films. Having said that, he recently shared a rare throwback memory from his first ever photoshoot.

Taking a trip down the memory lane, he also penned a heartwarming note that read, “Your firsts are always special ♥️ And so is this photo, taken when I was 23…my first time in front of the camera and before I could realise, it soon became my first love, all thanks to your love. #ThrowbackThursday.”

Akshay Kumar made his film debut with the movie “Saugandh” in 1991. He then went on to star in several hit movies including Hera Pheri, Rowdy Rathore, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Padman, Singh Is Kinng, and Rustom, among others.

Akshay Kumar has an interesting line-up of films at present including Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Skyforce, Hera Pheri 3 and the untitled Soorarai Pottru remake. Whether he will be able to break the streak of flops with these upcoming movies or not, one will have to wait and see.

Akshay was last seen in Mission Raniganj with Parineeti Chopra. Mission Raniganj is inspired by a real-life incident and presents the heroic act of the late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill who led Bharat’s coal mine rescue mission. Singh (portrayed by Akshay Kumar) played a significant role in rescuing all the surviving miners trapped inside a flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989 which is documented to be the world’s largest and successful rescue mission against all odds.
