Whether it is their long-standing enmity or a sudden camaraderie, the equation that actors Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan share invariably makes for an interesting read. Fans aren’t so much interested in their films as much as their films clashing at the Box Office, their appearance together on a show and their comments against each other.
In a recent interview to a leading daily, Salman was asked for the reason that’s stopping him from owning a sports team. Instead of giving a controversial statement, the actor showed maturity and gave a gratifying reply that won’t be forgotten easily.
“I don’t see myself fighting with Delhi, Pune or KKR.No doubt, it’s a wonderful way to promote sports, but I want to be there (pointing to the top). So, when it becomes Salman’s team versus Preity’s team or Shah Rukh’s team, it no longer remains a sporting thing, it gets into the area of gossip. Also, the 'responsible press’ will take away focus from the match, and I don’t want to give anybody that kind of mileage. I want to do something for the overall development of sports,” he replied.
Interestingly, SRK has also decided to push the release date of ‘Raees’ from Eid 2016 to January 2017 for ‘friend’ Salman Khan.
