The latest episode of WWE Raw kicked off with Jey Uso celebrating his Intercontinental title victory in front of the Ford Centre Evansville in Indiana on September 30. He blamed Roman Reigns and The Bloodline for causing hindrance to his first singles victory. Uso then expressed love for his mother and branded her as his “biggest fan.”
Bron Breakker appeared on the stage and shook hands with the new champ in an act of showing mutual respect. Later on the show, Adam Pearce announced a face-off between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell. The two rivals, however, were not allowed to hit each other and the arrangements were made only for their final promo ahead of Bad Blood. The duo then engaged in trash talks, with Punk claiming that he would send the Scottish star to his homeland “in a box.”
Another highlight of the Raw episode was a cryptic promo from the Wyatt Sicks. The video featured a mystery woman, and many fans believed she was none other than Alexa Bliss. Let’s take a look at the results of this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
Xavier Woods vs Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio was in early control as he threw Xavier Woods out of the ring and attempted the 619. Woods was able to block the move. Mysterio was adjusting his musk which allowed Woods to roll him up and secure the win.
Zoey Stark vs Lyra Valkyria
PFC caused a distraction during the fight and Zoey Stark used the opportunity well to launch a big dropkick. Lyra Valkyria came back with a German Suplex. PFC once again distracted the referee and Stark dished out the Z360 to claim a pinfall victory.
Judgement Day vs LWO
Liv Morgan ran a distraction and Finn Balor smashed Joaquin Wilde off the top rope. JD McDonald then took over the charge and hit Wilde with the Devil Inside to help Judgement Day win the tag match.
Chad Gable vs Kofi Kingston
Xavier Woods tried to interfere when Kingstone was preparing The Trouble in Paradise. Gable returned with Chaos Theory and secured an easy win.
AOP vs The Awesome Truth
R-Truth was getting thrashed when The Miz was tagged in and attacked his own tag team partner. It allowed AOP to hit Truth with What a Rush to win the match.
Last Monster Standing Match: Braun Strowman vs Bronson Reed
Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed were engaged in a fierce battle when Seth Rollins showed up at the ringside. He smashed Reed’s head onto the steel steps, helping Strowman win the clash via ten-count.
