Actors Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu are currently making headlines for their highly-awaited Malayalam film, Grrr. It has been directed by Jay K Jayakrishnan. Recently, the makers have surprised the viewers and dropped the first single from the upcoming comedy-drama movie, which is currently going viral. The song is titled Dhurithame Pranayam. The clip begins with a troop of government officials, starting with Suraj as the zookeeper. He urgently gathers his staff, while the fire forces and special forces speed towards the zoo to help him out. As they speed on, a senior is seen warning his men that they are approaching a lion’s den, yet they must not feel fear. But what has got them hassled, and is this such a scene of urgency?

As the track comes to an end, we see it is because of an inebriated Kunchacko Boban, who has snuck into the lion’s enclosure and taunted the great beast. The lyrics for the song are penned by Manu Manjith, while it is sung by Benny Dayal.

The song was released on May 25 and has garnered 98,549 views on YouTube. Fans have shared their views in the comment box. One of the users commented, “I always love the diversity in chackochan." Another one penned, “So happy and relaxed to watch a video song instead of the typical lyrical songs." “High hope for this one," wrote the third user. Many people dropped red heart emojis in the comments.

Few days ago, the film’s production company, Phars Film Co LLC, announced the release date of Grrr with a poster on Instagram. The film will hit theatres on June 14. The poster depicts Kunchacko and Suraj attempting to cope with the lion with the help of a stick. “Ready to roar! #grrr in cinemas on June 14," reads the caption.

Jay K and S Praveen have scripted Grrr, and it promises to be a fun entertainer. The filmmakers had been working on the film for a long time, including shooting with a real lion in South Africa. The film’s technical team includes Jayesh Nair (cinematographer), Vivek Harshan (editor), and Dawn Vincent (background score). Aside from Dawn, Kailas Menon and Tony Tarz composed the film’s tunes.
