Bank of England froze the assets of 19 people arrested in connection with a terror plot to bomb British planes.

London: The Bank of England froze the assets of 19 people early on Friday, naming them as people arrested in connection with an alleged terror plot to bomb British passenger jets.

Naming the suspects, the Bank of England said it would be an offence to make their money available without a licence from the Treasury.

Most of those named in the list were London residents, and many bore Muslim names.
