India’s star all-rounder, Hardik Pandya is seen enjoying some much-needed time off ahead of the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh which is set to begin on October 6.

Pandya (30) had most recently taken part in India’s recent white-ball tour of Sri Lanka where he played in the three-match T20I series against their next-door neighbours.

Following the Sri Lanka series, the fast-bowling all-rounder is enjoying some time away from cricket. He uploaded a post on his Instagram handle where he can be seen enjoying the sun and waves on the beach during his time off.

The Indian all-rounder remains an indispensable asset to the white-ball side and is arguably one of the finest all-rounders of the current generation. His ability to take wickets alongside scoring the big runs for his side is a quality very few players possess.

As he takes some well-deserved rest and gears up for his next assignment, it will be crucial that Pandya gets back to full fitness and strays away from any possible injury concerns.

Injuries have been a crucial element in Pandya’s career. Most notably, he suffered an ankle injury against Bangladesh in the ODI World Cup 2023 which resulted in the end of his campaign. His addition to the side could have been the difference the side needed to get past the eventual winners, Australia during the final in Ahmedabad.

The Indian team will be gearing up for their next assignment where they take on Bangladesh in a two-match Test series at home beginning on September 19. The first game will take place in Chennai while the next one is at Kanpur.

India’s T20I series is up next with Gwalior, Delhi and Hyderabad playing hosts for each game respectively. Hardik will certainly be looking to make a return and be available for his side on a consistent basis to ensure that the demons regarding his injury concerns are off his chest.
