While K-dramas have a huge fanbase in India, people have also developed a strong liking towards Turkish dramas. From romantic comedies to historical dramas, the charm of Turkish culture and its talented stars have made these shows binge worthy and hit among viewers. Among the most popular show is Ask Laftan Anlamaz, starring Hande Ercel and Burak Deniz. Adding to the excitement, Shemaroo Umang recently launched the series in India with the title, Pyaar Lafzon Mein Kahan starting July 1. The story follows Hayat, a rural girl who unexpectedly becomes the personal assistant of Murat, a wealthy businessman, due to a mix up. As Hayat and Murat’s story moves forward, Murat falls in love with Hayat, unaware of her true identity.
The beloved romantic drama which originally aired from June 2016 to February 2017, continues to capture hearts worldwide. For the Indian audience, the show has been dubbed in Hindi. According to the channel’s Instagram page, viewers can watch the series featuring Hande and Burak daily at 6:30 PM and 10 PM.
This 31 episode series is a perfect blend of comedy and romance with an emotional twist. Sharing the trailer, the channel wrote, “Kya mod legi galatfehmiyon se shuru hui Hayat aur Murat ki kahani? Burak Deniz visited India for the first time in 2023 for FICCI Frames. Speaking about his love for the country, the actor told Hindustan Times, “I would have liked to come here to India much before, because I know your culture and like everything about it, and it’s unbelievable. I know it deeply, and want to know more. If I wasn’t this busy with the many things I do as a job in my own country, I wanted to spend more time.”
During the time, the Turkish star also shared that he’s a big fan of Aamir Khan, and even mentioned PK and 3 Idiots as his favourite films. Interestingly, even Hande Ercel visited India, earlier this year for the FICCI Frames 2024.
