KV student falls off school bus

BHUBANESWAR: A Class II student of Kendriya Vidyalaya was injured when he fell off the school bus near Sundarpada area on Wednesday.  The seven-year-old, Iyatta, was virtually thrown off the bus when the driver took a sharp turn near Sundarpada. He sustained head injuries and has been admitted to Bibekananda Hospital. School sources said, the student was to get off the bus in the neighbourhood and was standing close to the door. When the driver took a sharp turn near a curve, Iyatta lost balance and fell. Last year, a helper of a KV school bus was driving the students home when he lost control and the vehicle fell into a ditch. At least 20 students were injured in that incident.
