After putting a complete pause in sales and business in 2021, the American car manufacturer Ford is expected to make a comeback in the Indian market with the giant SUV Endeavour. It has been reported that the brand has already filed a design patent for the all-time loved vehicle, and planning to introduce it in the country soon.
However, the company has not revealed or dropped and details regarding the same as yet.
Ford Endeavour in India
If rumours are to be believed, the brand might assemble the upcoming Endeavour at the plant in Chennai. The brand also refused to sell its factor to the JSW Group last month, hinting at the green signal for business in India. It also has been reported that Ford might import the first batch of the king-size SUV via CBUs. Later, it might give some modification to the strategy.
Launching in 2025?
If everything goes as it has been reported, the updated avatar of Ford Endeavour might roam on Indian roads next year. However, a confirmation from the brand for the same is awaited.
Exterior Updates
Talking about the model in the international market, which has been launched as Everest, it comes with a muscular yet edgy style statement, featuring a similar foundation to the Ranger pickup. It gets a fully LED headlight setup, C-shaped LED DRLs, cladding on the side profile and aggressive alloy wheels, which make it bolder and wilder in the segment. Apart from all these changes and updates, the vehicle still flaunts its old-school charm in a modern avatar.
Interior Changes
From Inside, it gets a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supported by all car connect technology including Android, Apple and Auto CarPlay. It also has a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, which allows the driver to monitor all the significant information such as speed, RPM, mileage, gear position and whatnot. The other notable features include Intersection Assist, Pre-Collision Assist, lane keep assist, hands-free parking, adaptive cruise control, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and 360 camera among others.
