Bhumi Pednekar Brings Visuals Of Vintage Luxury In Lehenga Made From Recycled Textile Waste
Bhumi Pednekar wows in a mix of traditional and luxury fashion at Jio World Plaza, showcasing her distinctive style. Her outfit choices are conscious fashion for the win.

Bhumi Pednekar has a profound and unwavering enthusiasm for all kinds of ethnic attire, if only one takes a peek at her wardrobe. Bhumi’s celebratory costumes continue to attract our attention, and the wide range of fashion choices she has made over the years is also well appreciated. She’s someone who takes risks with our clothes, doesn’t shy away from experimenting or getting criticised, and has truly reflected her changing personality over the years.

This time too, the actress decided to go ahead with a style that incorporates aspects of both ancient fashion and luxury fashion into a single lehenga.

Styled by Tanya Ghavri, the colour palette blended a rich copper hue with beige tones. The lehenga colour combination made way for a contemporary yet rustic interpretation of traditional attire. Sourced from Re-by Ateev Anand, a brand that emphasises conscious handwoven pieces made from recycled fabrics, the actress wore a hand-woven kalidar lehenga in dual tones. The blouse featured intricate brocade wrap detailing, leading to a plunging neckline. She opted for a bold accessory game, including chunky oxidised bangles, choker neckpieces, and jhumkas rounding off the look.

Considering the development of Bhumi Pednekar’s fashion sense, it becomes evident that her styling has been effective in bringing out the distinctive qualities of her personality. Her appearance on the Jio World Plaza’s red carpet was nothing less than a visual treat. She wore a dress from Shadek Majed’s Autumn/Winter 2023-2024 couture collection, which featured a sheer lacey top with an oversized bow detail that cascaded into an off-shoulder accent, fitting right in with the bow and croquette trend. Of late, Bhumi Pednekar has been shifting towards a more vintage-inspired style. In her recent appearance, she opted for a custom beige organza sari from Torani by Karan Torani. Adding to the vintage touch, the ensemble was complemented by a whimsical puff-sleeve blouse.
