Coast Guard officials donate blood

KOCHI: The Coast Guard in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) organised a blood donation camp at the Coast Guard District Headquarters, Fort Kochi.Around 50 Coast Guard officials donated blood at the camp.The camp, organised in continuation with the Coast Guard Week celebrations, was inaugurated by DIG TKS Chandran, Commander, Coast Guard District Headquarters by donating blood.Speaking on the occasion, DIG Chandran emphasised on the need to donate blood.Around 50 units of blood was collected by the team of doctors and paramedics from IMA.The blood donation camp is an annual event which coincides with the Coast Guard week celebrations.
