New Delhi: Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has admitted on Thursday that he thinks Barcelona are the best team in Europe at the moment, but that Liverpool need to be wary of Real Madrid too.
Liverpool meet Real Madrid in the Champions League next month but striker Fernando Torres doesn't believe they will be meeting the best side in Spain.
Indeed, El Nino reserves that crown, and the best in Europe, for Barcelona, who he describes as team without limits.
"Barcelona are the best team in Europe without any doubt," he told the Liverpool Daily Post.
"They are in great form and that is seen in the way they plays games, and in the amount of chances on goal they create.
"They are not content with just winning and they always want more. Therefore they are a team without a limit, and they can keep on improving."
Despite the praise for Barcelona though, Torres is also wary of the team that Liverpool face in the Champions League, Madrid.
The match is likely to be special in particular for El Nino, bearing in mind his history with Atlético Madrid, but today he praised los Blancos, and their constant presence in Europe.
"We will have to see how we are doing in February with the amount of games, but for sure Real Madrid are a great team," he mused.
"They are one of the biggest, and always go far in Europe and in La Liga. Therefore, there is no reason to think that this year will be any different."
