Alcatel has finally unveiled the heavily-teased Flash 2 smartphone, which the company says is targeted at mobile photography enthusiasts. The company has also revealed the availability details of the handset for different markets including India. The Flash 2, which is the successor to the Alcatel Flash, will go on sale in India from October 20, and will be available via Flipkart.
As fas as specifications are concerned, the Alcatel Flash 2 sports a 13 megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with a dual flash, which is claimed to give an extra advantage in low-light conditions. The front-facing camera on the phone also comes with an LED flash.
Its curved back is claimed to have been designed in a way that it remains spotless and dirt-free at all times. The phone is engineered with a 64-bit octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 MT6753 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
It features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The Alcatel Flash 2 will be available in Volcanic Grey and Mica White colours.
