It is almost going to be a month since Prabhas’ Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’s release. The film is still running in theatres across India. The film has been a success, albeit on a lower scale than touted. The success of Salaar has nevertheless broken Prabhas’ dry spell at the box office. A success meet for Salaar was held on January 13 at High Ultra Lounge, Bangalore. The theme of the success meet was black. Hence, from furniture to clothes, everything was in black. Recently, a video from the success meet is going viral, where director Prashanth Neel is pulled to the centre of the stage by lead actress Shruti Haasan.
In the video, we see the team of Salaar, including the cast and crew, standing to be clicked by the press present at the meet. While Prabhas and Shruti Haasan share the centre stage, Prashanth Neel was initially standing at one end of the stage. We then see Shruti Haasan pulling him by the hand and making him stand between her and Prabhas.

Many users are appreciating Shruti’s gesture of bringing Prashanth Neel to the fore. Many others are commenting on how down to earth and humble Prashanth Neel is. The caption of the clip, which was shared on X, says: “After so many years, I am seeing Prabhas Anna this happy”, probably referring to the fact that Prabhas has had his first hit in years.
Salaar has started streaming on Netflix from today, September 20. The movie is available in all the four South Indian languages, including the original Telugu language but the Hindi dub is not available yet. It’s also unclear whether the Hindi version of the film would be available on Netflix, particularly since Hindi isn’t mentioned in the Netflix trailer.
Prabhas will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi superhero film Kalki 2898 AD, which will release in the middle of this year.
