On the occasion of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, the director of HanuMan, Prasanth Varma has announced his next film titled Jai Hanuman. The filmmaker is currently celebrating the success of HanuMan, which has reportedly grossed Rs 200 crore at the box office. The Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha occasion was one of the biggest events of the country, where PM Modi inaugurated the temple in the presence of the biggest names in the country. For Prasanth Varma, the day had an added excitement as he announced the commencement of his next. Taking to his official Instagram account, he unveiled the poster of the film, along with a photo of himself holding the film’s script in front of Lord Anjaneya. He captioned the post, “With gratitude for the immense love and support showered upon #HanuMan from audiences across the globe, I stand at the threshold of a new journey by making a promise to myself! #JaiHanuman Pre-Production Begins on the auspicious day of #RamMandirPranPrathistha.” Netizens flood the comments expressing their excitement. One user wrote, “The Biggest Universe Is Loading.” The second user wrote, “Perfect timing to announce. Nice move.” Many users filled the replies with the chant, “Jai Shri Ram.”

Prasanth Varma’s latest directorial HanuMan continues its successful run in the theatres, as it has collected Rs 200 crore at the box office. The cast of the film includes Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Raj Deepak Shetty, Samuthirakani and Vennela Kishore. It is produced by Kandagatla Niranjan Reddy under the banner of Prime Show Entertainment. The film was released on January 12, 2024, on the occasion of Sankranthi. It was made on a reported budget of Rs 20 crore.
Prasanth Varma debuted as a filmmaker with the film Awe in 2018. Since then he has helmed films like Kalki, Adbhutham, and HanuMan. His upcoming projects include Devaki Nandana Vasudeva and Adhira.
