As per Sacnilk.com, the film earned Rs. 11.50 crore nett in India (early estimates) for all languages. This brings the film’s total collection in India to Rs. 80.46 crores nett across all languages. It had an overall 64.69% Telugu occupancy on this day. The film features Teja Sajja in the title role, alongside Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Deepak Shetty and Vinay Rai.
News18’s review of the film mentioned, “The film takes its time to build the plot but once it does, it turns out to be an entertaining affair with some amazing action sequences. Hanu Man’s humorous and goosebumps-inducing moments keep it engaging. Audiences will especially love the final sequences that Prasanth Varma created, which elevate Lord Hanuman to a whole new level. The effect is increased by some amazing CGI which deserves a special mention. Despite being made on a limited budget, the makers have made sure that the CGI is breath-taking and stands tall and also puts to shame some of the feature films that are made with high budgets. I watched the dubbed Hindi version despite which the comic scenes landed which is a big plus.”
“Teja Sajja plays his role to perfection. As an underdog who rises to the occasion, he did a convincing job. Amritha Aiyer gets a meaty role in the film and performs well. A special mention for Satya and Getup Srinu who manage to tickle the fun bone. Vinay Rai who plays the antagonist gets a raw deal as his character seems to be poorly written,” the review also stated.
