Rahul a 'confused' leader: friend
Samajwadi Party nominee Kunwer Vigyat Singh, who claims to be the class-mate of star Congress campaigner Rahul Gandhi, today described the young MP as a "confused" leader.

New Delhi: He may have been trying to win for Congress the UP votebank by invoking the ‘family’ name, but that hasn’t stopped his detractors from criticising his strategies.

So much so that a Samajwadi Party candidate – who claims to Rahul’s classmate – says the Congress MP from Amethi is a “confused” leader.

Kunwer Vigyat Singh said Rahul is unable to state “clearly” his aims. "Though Rahul is well-cultured, well-behaved and very social, he is a confused leader. He should clearly state what he is doing in politics and what are his aims," Vigyat was quoted by agencies as saying while campaigning in UP's Pratapgarh.

Grandson of Congress leader late Dinesh Singh, Vigyat is contesting UP polls against Congress Legislature Party leader Pramod Tewari.

To a question, he was quoted as saying by PTI that, "whether I win the election or not, I will continue to work for the country."
