JDU chief Sharad Yadav's daughter defends her father's sexist remarks, asks why should he apologise
Speaking to CNN-IBN Suhasini said that her father has not said anything wrong and he will not apologise.

New Delhi: After Janata Dal United chief Sharad Yadav sparked a controversy in Parliament by commenting on the skin colour of south Indian women during the insurance bill debate on Friday, his daughter Suhasini Bundela has defended him. Speaking to CNN-IBN Suhasini said that her father has not said anything wrong and he will not apologise.

Sharad Yadav was at the centre of a controversy over his comments on south Indian women with his detractors on Thursday terming it as "sexist" and "racist" but the JD(U) president remained defiant, saying he was only praising their beauty.

Yadav, a best Parliamentarian awardee, said he was only underscoring the social and cultural bias in favour of people with white skin.
