Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party leader Dayashankar Singh's wife Swati on Friday filed an FIR against Bahujan Samaj Party workers for their alleged objectionable remarks against her.

Meanwhile, the hunt is on for Singh, who is still absconding, after he had compared BSP leader Mayawati to a 'prostitute'.

"I have no contact with Dayashankar as of now. Whatever updates I am getting are all from the TV itself. The BSP workers used onjectionable words against me and my daughter," Swati said.

On Thursday, thousands of angry BSP workers took on to the streets sloganeering against BJP.

Sources said that Singh will surrender before the court on Friday. An FIR was filed against him on Wednesday.

In derogatory remarks against Mayawati on Wednesday, Singh had said, "Mayawati is breaking the dream of Kanshi Ram into pieces. Mayawati is selling tickets like a prostitute."

"Mayawati gives tickets for Rs 1 crore and if there is someone who can give Rs 2 crore than she sells it for Rs 2 crore within an hour. If someone is ready to give Rs 3 crore by the evening, she gives the ticket to him. She is even worse than a prostitute," he had said.

The BJP on Wednesday night expelled Singh from the party as it sought to buffer it against the fallout of his derogatory remarks against the BSP chief.
