A video which is currently going viral features Indian comic Kapil Sharma. The short clip is from one of the promotional events for his 2022 film ‘Zwigato.’ Kapil, in the video, can be seen talking about why he was casted in the movie. He explained how the director of the movie, Nandita Das, said that she would not even cast ‘global star’ Shah Rukh Khan in the film if he agrees. She only wanted to cast Kapil because he looks like a global star.
This is the reason why Kapil is being trolled on social media. Many also deemed the video as ‘Comedy Nights With Nandita Das.’ Here is the viral clip:
“Mai iss film ke liye overqualified hun,” commented an Instagram user. Another person wrote, “Salman Khan of Indian Comedy Industry.” Some also agreed with her choice and wrote, “Tbh, Nandita Das has experienced this personally because of her skin color and perhaps she meant that SRK being a delivery boy is too unrealistic and Kapil makes more sense.” Another person wrote, “Since everyone in Bollywood looks like an apsara, that too without any kind of surgery or fairness treatments, she’s right.”
Meanwhile, earlier, a video which went viral featured comic Kapil Sharma and Zakir Khan. In the video, Kapil Sharma can be seen talking about the time he first met SRK. “This is SRK for y’all. SRK is one of the most generous, kindest and humble person in world,” read the caption. He recalls that it was during his show when SRK called him to his van and introduced Kapil to Deepika Padukone. “Hey Deepika, do you know him? He did Devdas’ spoof and I am a fan,” says SRK.
