With Diwali festivities knocking at our doors, our favourite Bollywood celebrities have also let their hair down. While some A-listed stars are displaying their fashion game at lavish parties, others are preparing to celebrate the occasion with close ones and family members. Joining the bandwagon is former actress Soha Ali Khan. Ahead of Diwali on November 12, she treated us with some glimpses of her intimate, pre-Diwali celebrations with husband-actor Kunal Kemmu and their 6-year-old daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. The pictures and videos Soha dropped on Instagram give us an insight into how the celebrity family is gearing up to celebrate Diwali this year.

Taking to her Instagram stories on November 10, Soha Ali Khan shared a picture featuring her daughter Inaaya and Kunal Kemmu’s younger sister Karishma Kemmu. Little Inaaya was seen helping her aunt create a colourful rangoli before the festival of light approached. Diyas made from Holi powder were displayed on the floor, while Inaaya seemed focused on recreating the same using a wooden stencil. The little munchkin was dressed in a red floral sharara and her hair was tied in a ponytail.

Apart from the post, Soha Ali Khan also posted a video on Instagram showcasing the Diwali ambience in the household. She was decked up in a bright red kaftan adorned with floral embroidery. The actress teamed up her outfit with matching sharara pants. Her short hair was left open. Holding a lit-up diya in her hands, she ignited another one. Soha struck some poses with the diya before placing it on a mound. An elaborate display of Rangoli, infused with an array of vibrant Holi powders featured on the floor. “Time to let your light shine bright,” she captioned the post.

Soon after the pictures surfaced on the internet, social media users were quick to mark their presence in the comments. While many wished Soha Ali Khan and their family a “Happy Diwali” others dropped multiple red heart emojis. “Looking great. I must say Kunal is a lucky man,” remarked one user. Complementing Soha’s ethnic ensemble, another wrote, “I genuinely love Kurta sets from House of Pataudi”.

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu exchanged vows in 2015. The couple welcomed their daughter Inayaa Naumi Kemmu two years later in 2018. On the work front, Kunal Kemmu was last seen in the Vipul Mehta directorial Kanjoos Makhichoos. He shared screen space opposite Shweta Basu Prasad in the comedy film.
