Anupam Kher is a well-known name in the industry. He has won everyone’s hearts from his performances. Well, the actor is very emotional in his private life. Recently in a conversation with Humans of Bombay, Anupam Kher opened up about the death of his very close friend and celebrity Satish Kaushik. He said that he would never get over his death.
Calling him his ‘habit’, Anupam Kher said, “He was always there. Like I was always there for him. I still was a little starry with him, but he was not like that. He had a great sense of giving. And he was always there to listen to… How can you replace him? How can you think about…” In the same conversation, the actor revealed that he always avoids talking about him with Anil Kapoor. “Even when we are together, we don’t talk about him because we know that it will upset the other person. So there is a presence of Satish Kaushik, even if we are not talking. The moment we are together, we automatically feel the absence of the other person. There was an earlier line I used to always say, sometimes you have to make your presence felt by your absence. This case, I think he’s done it in a big way.”
Actor-director Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66, after suffering a heart attack on March 8. He is survived by his wife and daughter Vanshika. Kaushik’s last film, ‘Emergency’, will release later this year. The veteran actor-director gave us gems such as ‘Tere Naam’ and ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’, which he directed. He also starred in films like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Mr. India, Saajan Chale Sasural and most recently, Sharmaji Namkeen, Thar and Chhatriwali.
