The Office star Mindy Kaling is a multi-talented artist. Besides acting, she is also an author, screenwriter, producer and mother. Balancing so many roles can be challenging for some but Mindy Kaling is making health a priority. Recently, she revealed her transformation on Instagram and announced the launch of her new swimwear collection with the leading brand Andie. The 44-year-old artist took to Instagram to share a series of Polaroid photos while flaunting curves in various swimsuits from her latest collection. In the video, Kaling went the extra mile as she not only showed each swimsuit but also labelled them with their design names. The clip garnered attention not just for the stylish swimwear but also for Kaling’s dedication to her work and health.
In the video, Kaling is seen admiring her Polaroid photos featuring six of her favourite styles. The video begins with a white swimwear called ‘The Rockley,’ followed by a dark blue piece, which she named ‘The Crane.’ As the video progresses, Mindy Kaling poses in a vibrant red one-piece named ‘The Marco.’ In another look, she wore blue shorts and a matching top named ‘The Dolphin.’ She further modelled in two black swimsuits named ‘The Malibu’ and ‘The Bells,’ respectively. Sharing the video on her social media handle, the artist wrote, “6 of my favourite styles for our Mindy x Andie Summer Camp collection. Summer starts now.”
Earlier, talking to Prevention, Mindy Kaling opened up about her weight loss journey and explained, “I think that if I can get in about 15 to 20 miles of walking a week, I have mental clarity, I feel like I get better sleep at night. So for me, that’s always been key. I used to be way more of a runner, but when I used to go running, I’d have to shower immediately after. I can’t be taking five showers a day. If I have any phone call, I just pick up the phone and I just go for a walk. Sometimes I listen to music, but it’s been such an easy way to get three to five miles a day of walking and movement, which I think is really important.”
“For me, at this point in my life, I feel like I know what I’m supposed to be eating, more leafy green vegetables and keeping red meat to a minimum for me, I also try to keep dairy at a minimum. I really try to implement, not when I have all the time in the world, but especially when I feel stressed out, because that’s when I feel like I make a lot of my big health mistakes. I’m a work in progress. Sometimes I’m better at it than other times, but now I’m way more motivated because I have kids,” Kaling added.
With her strict diet and exercise routine, Mindy Kaling has lost close to 40 pounds (approximately 18 Kg).
