Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk are gearing up for their next film Bad Newz. The romantic comedy has been creating a huge buzz among the audience. Well, ahead of the release, the lead actors were seen promoting the film in New Delhi. However, they also enjoyed parantha and shared glimpses too.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Vicky Kaushal shared videos in which he along with Triptii and Ammy are seen enjoying Moolchand parantha. On Sunday, the makers released a new song Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam which will remind you about Shah Rukh Khan. The song features all three lead actors. Vicky Kaushal shared the video and wrote, “Kab tumne ye socha, kab tumne ye jaana, aur #MereMehboobMereSanam aagaya! SONG OUT NOW!” The video opens with introduction of all the actors and how they impressed Triptii. The song is recreation of Shah Rukh Khan’s song filmed in Duplicate.

The trailer’s offbeat storyline, where Dimri’s character finds out she’s expecting twins from two different fathers, portrayed by Kaushal and Virk, has intrigued audiences and sparked curiosity about the movie’s plot.
Recently, Vicky was talking about the upcoming film when he said, “For me, shooting this film was like home because Anand Tiwari and Karan Johar, the people I worked with, exuded that feel-good vibe and the script was very good. I found the concept of the film new, and the kind of humour it has, even though I haven’t explored the comedy genre that much as an actor.”
Backed by producers Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is all set to premiere in theatres on July 19, 2024.
Recently, Vicky revealed how his actress-wife Katrina Kaif, who is a phenomenal dancer herself, reacted to his moves. Speaking to Times Now/Zoom, Vicky said that although Katrina loves the fact that he dances so openly but suggested he “practice control” when it comes to dancing on screen. However, when Katrina saw Vicky in ‘Tauba Tauba’, she dubbed his moves “perfect”.
