Bollywood superstar Salman Khan drew the loudest cheers as he performed with groom-to-be Anant Ambani at the latter’s wedding sangeet in Mumbai on Friday evening. The duo performed on Salman’s popular song ‘Aisa Pehli Baar Hua Hai’ at the function. Anant, son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani, is all set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant next week. Ahead of Anant’s wedding, the Ambanis hosted a grand sangeet at Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), which saw several Bollywood A-listers in attendance.
In a video, shared by Viral Bhayani, Anant can be seen copying Salman’s hook step on ‘Aisa Pehli Baar Hua Hai’ as the crowd goes berserk. Salman looked dapper in a black tuxedo, while Anant dazzled in a blue-coloured shimmery kurta and silver jacket.
Apart from Salman Khan, pop star Justin Bieber also took the stage on Friday night to perform at Anant and Radhika’s wedding sangeet ceremony. Justin broke the internet as he performed his popular songs such as Baby, Never Let You Go and Where Are U Now at the function. In a video, shared by Bollywood Hungama, Justin was also seen singing Where Are U Now with Orhan Awatramani aka Orry at the sangeet.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities began with Mameru ceremony at the Ambani’s residence Antilia in Mumbai on Wednesday. The couple will tie the knot in Mumbai on July 12. A few days back, Mukesh Ambani met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to invite him for his son’s wedding. Before that, Anant personally invited Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn to his wedding.
