The much-awaited MTV original series, Primetime With The Murthys, has started streaming exclusively on Jio Cinema Premium from July 3. A contemporary family fiction show, it is available in English, Hindi and Tamil. It promises a nuanced exploration of the problems faced by the modern Indian youth. Cast And Director
Primetime With Murthys introduces the audience to the Murthy family members, that is Sushma Murthy (Sukhita Aiyar), Manohar Murthy (Preetam Koilpillai), Nisha Murthy (Sanjana Doss), and Shiv Murthy (Amrith Jayan). The promo of this series had a hilarious take on the family drama films directed by Karan Johar. It shows how an imaginary depiction of the films by Mr Johar is and what a real family looks like. The promo shows the mother lashing out at her daughter for keeping the door locked. The daughter, on the other hand, laments the fact that she is not getting any privacy from her family members.
