Shilpa Shetty, Farah Khan, and Dia Mirza recently visited Malaika Arora and her family to offer their condolences following the passing of Anil Mehta, Malaika and Amrita Arora’s stepfather. Anil Mehta passed away on Wednesday, with initial reports indicating possible suicide, though an investigation is ongoing. His funeral was held on Thursday afternoon.

In a video shared by paparazzo Sneh Zala, Shilpa Shetty is seen arriving at Malaika Arora’s mother’s residence. Similarly, videos from Filmygyan and Voompla captured Farah Khan and Dia Mirza paying their respects during their visits to the family home.

Malaika and Amrita Arora have been receiving overwhelming support from their close friends in the industry following the passing of their stepfather, Anil Mehta. Arbaaz Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor have remained by Malaika’s side since the tragic news broke. Arbaaz was among the first to arrive at Malaika’s parents’ home on Wednesday, shortly after the news emerged, while Kareena and Saif Ali Khan quickly joined them once the police’s initial investigation concluded.

Several members of the Khan family, including Salim Khan, Salma Khan, Sohail Khan, and Arpita Khan Sharma, were also spotted visiting the Arora family. Others, including Ananya Panday, Chunky Panday, and Kajol, also came to offer their condolences.

On Wednesday night, Malaika issued an emotional statement on social media, paying tribute to Anil Mehta. She wrote, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect.”
