Vicky Kaushal has made a niche for himself in a short span of over 2 years. The actor's unforgettable performance in Masaan to his bad-cop role in Raman Raghav 2.0, every film of his has proved his acting abilities. Now he plans to 'surprise' his fans with his new film with Anand Tiwari.

"The title of the film has not yet been decided, but it's going to bring a fresh change to the kind of roles I'm associated with," Kaushal said.

The actor attended the screening of Konkona Sen Sharma's A Death In The Gunj on Friday at the ongoing Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. "I’m super excited to watch the film as it has so many great talents working together. It’ll be fun to watch all my friends up there, acting together."

On being asked about his own projects, Kaushal said, “I have a surprise in store for all. My next film will be a light film which is something I’ve not done so far. Directed by Anand Tiwari the film is being produced by Ronnie Screwwala and is about to bring a fresh change to my career graph.”

Kaushal was also being considered for the role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical story of Padmavati. About his name being in the news for the film, he said, “I couldn’t have asked for better. In such a short duration of my career, if my name was being linked to Mr. Bhansali’s project, that’s enough for me.”
