Former 'Krrish' Child Actor Mickey Dhamijani Takes On Role As Eye Surgeon: 'Lessons From My Acting Days...'
Mickey Dhamijani, known for his role as the young Hrithik Roshan in Krrish is an eye surgeon now.

The famous line ‘Lagta hai maine aapko pehle kahi dekha hai?’ has taken on a literal meaning for Mickey Dhamijani, known for his role as the young Hrithik Roshan in the superhero film Krrish. Transitioning from his acting days, Mickey Dhamijani has now evolved into a skilled eye surgeon.

On his Instagram handle, Mickey candidly showcased his remarkable evolution from a prominent child actor in a blockbuster movie to his current profession as a doctor through a captivating reel. The video featured snippets from his time in Krrish, alongside memorable moments captured with Hrithik Roshan and his esteemed filmmaker father, Rakesh Roshan, the creative force behind the 2006 cinematic gem. He wrote the caption, “Guess you’ve seen me before? Oh, definitely you have! I had the incredible opportunity to play Jr. Krrish and work alongside a super talented cast in a film that was truly a joy to be part of. My journey from being a child actor to becoming an eye surgeon has been nothing short of amazing.”

He added, “The transition has been filled with wonderful experiences and exceptional learnings, shaping who I am today. The lessons from my acting days continue to inspire my work in eye care, and I’m grateful for every step of this unique path. I could now be a superhero to your eye care .”

As a follow-up to the beloved film Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish marked the second chapter in the superhero series, culminating in the release of its third installment in 2013. Excitingly, the announcement of Krrish 4 has stirred up anticipation, with the talented trio of Hrithik, Rakesh Roshan, and the accomplished Fighter director Siddharth Anand coming together as co-producers to bring this new adventure to life.

Earlier, a report published in Midday also claimed that Hrithik Roshan, along with his filmmaker father Rakesh Roshan, plans to crack the concept this summer. A source close to the development shared with the portal that the actor is currently busy filming for War 2, yet he will be involved in ideating the next part with his father and their in-house team of writers. It has been revealed that the project is currently in advanced stages. “Hrithik has scheduled brainstorming sessions throughout the summer. Both Rakesh and he want to deliver a story that will exceed expectations,” the source said. In addition to this, the report further suggests that the makers plan to lock in the basic idea this year and set the stage for the shoot next year, in 2025.

Last year, in an interview with India Today, Rakesh shared that while Krrish 4 will be the biggest film in the franchise, the filmmaker raised concerns regarding the current situation of the industry. He shared, “What is happening is that the audience is still not coming back to the theatres, so that is a big question mark for me. Krrish is going to be a big film. The world has become smaller, and kids today are used to seeing Hollywood superhero films that are made on budgets of like 500–600 million dollars. Meanwhile, we have a small budget of Rs 200–300 crore in comparison.”
