Infertility has become a common problem among both men and women. Nowadays, a lot of people are suffering from this issue, mainly due to their lifestyle. This problem has affected the lives of many couples, including their mental condition. Couples are unable to fulfil their wishes to have children because of these problems. Some of the biggest reasons for infertility include hormonal changes and a lack of nutrients in the body. In order to cure this, people consume many things, but a balanced diet rich in vitamins and nutrients can be helpful in increasing production by removing the problem of infertility. These nutrient-rich diets increase the quality of eggs in women and prevent sperm damage in men. Dr Amrita Saha, gynaecologist at Government Medical College, Kannauj, has explained about certain foods that can help in improving fertility:

Green Leafy Vegetables: Green leafy veggies can play a vital role in the treatment of infertility. Leafy vegetables are an excellent source of folic acid and vitamin C. In such a case, both nutrients aid in the ovulation process. It also has the potential to lower the risk of miscarriage and chromosomal problems, when pregnant. Spinach, broccoli, and fenugreek are all suitable for this purpose.

Dry Fruits: As per many gynaecologists, dry fruits are high in protein, vitamins, and minerals. Walnuts contain selenium, which may help reduce chromosomal damage in eggs. This helps in increasing fertility. This antioxidant inhibits free radicals and can boost egg production in the human body.

Quinoa: According to experts, quinoa can also help with infertility. In fact, using plant-based proteins such as quinoa rather than animal-based proteins increases the chances of conception. It not only stabilises blood sugar levels but also helps to regulate the menstrual cycle. Quinoa also has high fibre content, which keeps the digestive system healthy.

Pumpkin Seeds: Pumpkin seeds can also help with the development of mature cells. They are also high in zinc, which may help boost testosterone and semen levels in men. Pumpkin seeds can encourage appropriate blood flow to all reproductive organs, thereby supporting and controlling a strong and healthy reproductive system.
