Ram Charan and Jr NTR's film has received widespread acclaim from audiences across the world.

Since its release in 2022, RRR has become a global sensation, especially with its popular track Naatu Naatu, which won an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Viewers in India have consistently praised the film and its performances. Recently, British actress Minnie Driver also expressed her admiration for the movie and highlighted her love for Indian cinema.

In an interview with ANI, Minnie Driver said, “RRR is my favourite. I love watching it with my son. It’s our favourite film of all time. It’s a three-hour movie, and we watch it probably every three months. I think it’s one of the most beautiful films ever made.”

RRR, featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, achieved remarkable global success and dominated the box office. Alongside Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani, the film showcased India’s cinematic talent on the international stage. The story revolves around two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR), set against the backdrop of the pre-Independence era.

On the professional front, Minnie Driver recently featured in the second season of The Serpent Queen, where she portrayed Queen Elizabeth I. The series also starred Amrita Acharia, Barry Atsma, Enzo Cilenti, Sennia Nanua and Kiruna Stamell. Based on Leonie Frieda’s book Catherine de Medici: Renaissance Queen of France, the show’s second season culminated in the harrowing events of the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre, which led to the deaths of hundreds in 1572.

Meanwhile, Minnie Driver is not the first international actor to be influenced by RRR. Earlier, actor Lucas Bravo also praised the film and Ram Charan’s performance during a promotional event for his web series Emily in Paris. He expressed his admiration for Indian cinema, stating, “I was so into RRR a few months back. Ram Charan is a fantastic actor. I know this film went to the Oscars, but I wanted more of this. I hope this movie will gain more visibility in Europe and the States.” Bravo highlighted the impressive stunts, fight sequences and the emotional depth that Ram Charan brought to the film.
