New Delhi: Tariq Dar, the Kashmiri model mistakenly arrested by the Delhi Police on suspicion of being a terrorist, finally re-united with his family in Srinagar on Monday.
Tariq's successful modeling career in Bangladesh had come to an end, when Bangaladeshi authorities deported him in September 2006 for allegedly being a RAW agent.
But on landing in Delhi, he was taken into custody by the Delhi police, for suspected links with the Lashkar-e-Toiba
But the police were unable to find any evidence to support their claim and kept Tariq in custody for three months
He was finally cleared of all charges by the Delhi High Court on the January 24.
