KARWAR: Supa reservoir is likely to attain its grandeur this year, if rains continue for a few more days. According to superintending engineer in-charge of Supa Dam, Shankar Devnoor, the reservoir is likely to attain its full level within a few days.Tuesday’s water level was 552.75 m, as against the maximum level of 564 m. Inflow into the reservoir is 50,000 cusecs. The catchment area of Supa reservoir has been receiving torrential rains for the last few days; 56 mm rain was recorded in the last twenty four hours.The reservoir had earlier attained its maximum level only once in 1994, which it came close to attaining in 2005.Meanwhile, the Kodsalli and Kadra reservoirs in the downstream of Supa reservoir too are likely to reach brim  anytime. The level in Kodsalii reservoir stands at 71.80 m as against its maximum level of 75.50 m; the water level in Kadra reservoir being 31.94 m, of a maximum level of 34.5 m.
