HYDERABAD: The controversy regarding the reason behind the mysterious death of Tollywood music director Anil Reddy continued was further deepened on Wednesday after Osmania General Hospital forensic experts conducted a second postmortem and said Anil had died of a massive brain haemorrhage and ruled out murder. But Anil Reddy’s brother Prakash Reddy continued to raise doubts about the authenticity of the findings of the OGH forensic experts and trained his guns at Anil’s fiancee and model Shalini.  The second postmortem conducted by two doctors, Dr Devaraj and Dr Harikrishna, concluded that Anil’s death was of natural causes. They said splitting of nerves in the brain had caused bleeding inside the head which subsequently led to a blood clot. The experts also raised doubts that Anil might have suffered fits at the time of his death.  “Massive brain haemorrhage happens because of high blood pressure which leads to Aneurysm disease. In Anil Reddy’s case, it could have happened because of a heated argument between the couple,” doctors said.  The OGH doctors ruled out murder as there were no external injuries on Anil. But this report is in contrast to the report given by Gandhi hospital authorities who declared that Anil died after he suffered a head injury.  Prakash Reddy said that the findings of the OGH experts did not surprise him. “We have no faith in the OGH experts’ findings because it was not done transparently. We have been demanding that forensic doctors of Gandhi hospital, who earlier performed the postmortem, should be present along with independent forensic experts during the second postmortem. But all of the sudden, OGH authorities informed that they will be performing the postmortem irrespective of our consent,” Prakash Reddy alleged.  Anil Reddy has died suddenly on April 21 near his fiancee Shalini’s residence at Pupalaguda. When he was rushed to Apollo hospital, he was declared brought dead and cardiac arrest was the reason cited. But after Anil’s family members raised doubts about the cause of death, Narsingi police exhumed his body and ordered Gandhi hospital to conduct a postmortem. The doctors there reported that Anil died after suffering a head injury and said it could be a murder.  Prakash Reddy began to suspect Shalini after seeing the SMSes exchanged between them. The couple were engaged and their marriage was supposed to take place in the next few months.
