Mar Thoma Church Supremo Dr Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan presided over the function.  He criticised  the occurence political murders in Kerala, especially in colleges. “The trend of Ideological differences leading to murders instead of discussion should be opposed. The impartial investigations into political murders by the police would be appreciated. This trend of disturbing honest investigation is not fair,” the Metropolitan said.He also mentioned the need to ban politics from the Mar Thoma Management colleges. He said that the direct involvement of politicians in student politics is not desirable.The annual budget of the Mar Thoma Church will be presented on Friday at the function.
