BURLA: Unidentified miscreants pushed a man out of a moving train near Narla railway station on Saturday evening when he declined their demand for money. Reports said Yudhistir Kumbhar (25) of Atta Chakipada here and his wife Sabyasini had boarded a train to Kalahandi. At around 6.30 pm, some miscreants demanded money from Yudhistir. When his wife Sabyasini intervened, she was allegedly molested.Yudhistir asked her to change the compartment after which the miscreants pushed him out of the moving train. He landed on the metal along the railway track and sustained serious injuries even as the miscreants decamped with Rs 3,000.A bleeding Yudhistir managed to walk down to Narla railway station and narrated his ordeal to Government Railway Police who registered a complaint.He was admitted to Balangir district headquarters hospital and later shifted to VSS Medical College and Hospital at Burla on Sunday morning. Yudhistir works as a security guard there.Preliminary investigation revealed that the miscreants belonged to Belpahar area in Jharsuguda. Further investigation is on.
