New Delhi: Delhi police claimed to have foiled a major terror bid on Tuesday morning when the Special Cell nabbed three suspected Lashker-e-Toiba militants, planning strikes in the capital.
The trio – Slaman Khursheed, Mohammad Akbar Hassan and Abdul Rehman, all aged between 20 and 24 – were arrested from the Red Fort area, Joint Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Karnal Singh was quoted by news agency PTI as saying.
Two kilo of RDX, two detonators and one hand grenade were recovered from the trio, he said.
