Koodankulam supporter petitions Collector

TIRUNELVELI: All India Congress Labour Front and Kudankulam Plant Supporting People Organisation founder-president T K Sathiya Sellan urged Tirunelveli district collector to take steps to start the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP) soon.T K Sathiya Sellan petitioned the Tirunelveli district collector R Selvaraj, on Thursday not to support the anti Koodankulam protesters. “The anti KKNPP protesters should not be allowed to assemble in front of the plant,” he urged, also recalling VAO being monitored at the plant gate. He stressed on the point that Tamil Nadu was suffering the shortage of power and steps needed to be taken to start KKNPP, at the earliest. In response to the petition, the Collector promosed to take the necessary action soon.
