Melbourne: In yet another case of attack on an Indian national, a farm worker was stabbed to death in his house by unknown assailants.
Lakhwinder Singh, a youth from Punjab who migrated to Australia in 2007, was attacked in his house here on Thursday night and one of his killers is in police custody, officials said here.
The suspect is reported to be a Vietnamese or Cambodian national. Police is investigating.
Lakhwinder was married to Beant Kaur, who recently came back to India for a visit and was not present when the incident happened.
