Panam’s romance is very particular, requiring V to select the right dialogue options and complete missions promptly to achieve success. Follow our handy, step-by-step romance guide, and we’ll show you exactly how to win Panam’s heart! We’ll even show you how to go on dates with Panam afterward, and outline all the requirements needed for the romance.
Quick Steps

Requirements for Romancing Panam

Panam can be romanced by a V with a masculine body. Beyond that, the only requirement for romancing Panam is choosing the right dialogue options as you go—and, of course, completing all the necessary main jobs and side jobs to complete the romance. The most important thing to note is that dialogue choice (and mission completion) is a little more important for Panam’s romance than the others, so save your game often! Additionally, you won’t meet Panam until the game’s Act 2, during a mission called “Ghost Town.”

How to Romance Panam in Cyberpunk 2077

Help Panam get her car back in the main job, “Ghost Town.” It’s during Ghost Town that V and Panam have their first interactions. Talk to Panam and agree to help her at the beginning of the mission; from there, the two of you will head to Rocky Ridge to take her car back from the Raffen. You can be stealthy or charge in, guns blazing—it doesn’t matter! You’ll get the “Ghost Town” mission from Rogue Amendiares in the Afterlife.

Agree to help Panam get revenge against Nash. Once you get Panam’s car back, she’ll ask you to aid her in her quest for revenge. Reply, “OK. So where’s this hideout?” From there, you’ll both go to the Raffen Shiv hideout to kill Nash (and his backup). Afterward, talk to Panam again and ask, “Feel better now?” Then, go to the Sunset Motel to celebrate the victory! At the bar, V can celebrate by sharing a beer with Panam. When you take a drink, select either of the following options: [Drink] To your ride! [Drink!] To what’s ahead! You’ll be able to flirt with Panam after a brief chat; she’ll mention getting a room, and V can reply, “Maybe we get just one room?”

Complete the main job “Lightning Breaks.” You’ll wake up at the Sunset Motel after finishing Ghost Town. Go downstairs and talk to Panam to start “Lightning Breaks” (she’ll be working on her car). Luckily, this job is simple: follow the objectives to kidnap Anders Hellman and take down the Kang Tao AV. Afterward, it doesn’t matter which dialogue options you choose—none of them are romance-specific. As the mission unfolds, hang close to Panam and do everything she asks. This will take you right into the next job, “Life During Wartime.”

Complete the main job “Life During Wartime.” V and Panam will head to the Kang Tao AV, with V’s job being to save Mitch (although you don’t need to worry; Mitch will survive no matter who shoots the Kang Tao guard). When talking to Panam and Mitch, select the dialogue option “I’m sorry about Scorpion.” Afterward, it doesn’t matter if V asks Panam for help or not. Go look for Hellman at the gas station, where you’ll be confronted by the Aldecaldos, led by Saul. While talking to Saul, pick the following dialogue option: “It really wasn’t Panam’s fault.” After the mission, Panam will send V a message. In V’s reply, choose “Maybe Mitch was right. You should go back. Settle everything once and for all.” Once you send this message, it’ll take a few in-game days for Panam to call you again and begin the next job.

Start Panam’s side job “Riders on the Storm.” When you arrive at the Aldecaldos Camp, Panam will ask for V’s help in saving Saul, who was kidnapped by Wraiths. Agree to help, selecting the dialogue “We’re chooms, that’s why.” Then, when you’re ready to head out, choose, “Yeah, ’course” (agreeing to ride with Panam). For the actual rescue mission, V can use stealth or force—it doesn’t matter as long as you save Saul. Once Saul is rescued and everyone has escaped into the sandstorm, interject into an argument between Panam and Saul with the following dialogue options: “Let’s take it easy—you’re both tired.” “Shitty idea, Panam’s right.” It’s possible to fail this quest, so make sure you save your game before starting it!

Flirt with Panam at the end of “Riders on the Storm.” When you support Panam in the argument, you’ll be able to have a private conversation with her after (and make a joke or two about staying in a motel together). During the chat, choose the following dialogue path: “Pleased with your stay, ma’am?” “You’d be more comfortable with your shoes off, ma’am.” [Touch Panam’s thigh] “Got a few ideas.” Panam will reject V’s advances, but you’ll be able to talk to her again in the morning. Approach Panam on her motorcycle and select: [Stop Panam] “Wait. About last night…” Panam will kiss V in response. The mission will end with Panam riding into the badlands—and you’ll be well on your way to romancing her!

Complete the side job “With a Little Help From My Friends.” After a few more days in-game, Panam will call V to ask for help at the Aldecaldos Camp. Select the option: “OK, I’m in.” Then, when deciding who to ride with, say “I’m riding with you” (so you stay with Panam). She’ll get you to the train yard, and the two of you will climb to the top of the tower. During the ensuing conversation, choose the following options: [Sand by the window] “Missed you.” “So let’s start.” “Great plan. What went wrong?” “So far, so good.” “Why’s it different with me?” [Touch Panam’s hand] “Next time, try following that impulse.” This will unlock more of Panam’s romance in the future. When you get to the Aldecaldos campfire outside, V can say he’s ready for some shuteye; then, select the option: [Scooch closer] “Gotten kinda cold.” The next day, just finish the mission according to the objectives given!

Start Panam’s “Queen of the Highway” side job. This is the final job needed to solidify Panam’s romance. After the previous job, wait one in-game day (away from the Aldecaldos Camp) for Panam to call. When she asks you to return, go meet her and enter the Basilisk, flirting by choosing the dialogue option: “Nice and cozy in here.” From there, the two of you will drive around and shoot at abandoned cars. After the drive, V and Panam will sync their synapses. Select the following dialogue option: [Let Panam touch you] “Oh, yeah. Let’s go.” This will trigger a love scene between V and Panam.

Confirm your relationship with Panam in “Queen of the Highway.” You’ve already initiated the romance with Panam—now, you just need to talk to her a little more to set things in stone for the future! After the Basilisk battle, back at the Aldecaldos Camp, Panam will speak to V again. Choose the following dialogue options: [Drink] “Listen, what happened in the Basilisk…” “I’d love to. But I can’t.” [Stand] “I’ll think it over, I promise.” V’s relic will malfunction. After waking up, V will be asked to remain with Mitch and Saul. Reply, “I can stay for a bit. Thanks.” Panam will walk with V to their vehicle; when she speaks to V, choose these options: “Honestly? I dunno.” [Kiss Panam] “Thanks for being here for me.” That’s the end of Panam’s side jobs! Now, not only have you successfully romanced her, but you’ve also unlocked The Star ending for the game.

Having a Date with Panam

Invite Panam over to any of V’s apartments for some quality time. As of Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.1, you can also invite V’s love interest over to hang out via a repeatable side job called “I Really Want To Stay At Your House.” Some time after romancing Panam (following the steps above), you’ll get a message from Panam expressing interest in meeting up; simply reply to the message and invite her over to an apartment. Keep in mind, you won’t be able to invite her over to the Dogtown apartment—but any other property is fair game!

V and Panam’s date will last as long as V is in the apartment. Once Panam is over at the apartment, you can do a few different things together, including chat; V and Panam have a few bits of small talk that you (as V) can initiate. Beyond that, you can: Cuddle. V and Panam can cuddle on sodas (or in other areas, depending on the apartment) and share a kiss or embrace. Dance. If V’s apartment has an area where they can dance, Panam will join in. Sleep. If V goes to sleep, Panam will join them in bed. Shower. If V takes a shower, Panam will accompany them. Look in the mirror. If you have V go use the bathroom, Panam may briefly stand with them at the mirror.

Can you romance Panam as a female V?

You cannot romance Panam as a female V (unless you use mods). Cyberpunk 2077’s romances are all gender-locked, meaning love interests have gender-specific requirements. Panam will only romance a V with a masculine body; similarly, Kerry will romance a V with a masculine body and voice, while Judy and River will only romance a V with a feminine body. If you’re playing Cyberpunk on a computer, you may be able to mod the game. Modders have created mods allowing Panam to be romanced by feminine Vs. You can find them under the Cyberpunk 2077 category on the Nexus Mods website.
